Anne's Travel Journal:
I first arrived in Singapore in January, 2000 to conduct a session for managers and executives at a fashionable Orchard Road hotel. My first impressions of Singapore were bright, warm, lush, green, and clean. I was particularly impressed by the amount of green space Singapore has managed to incorporate into an urban area. The term urban jungle came to my mind but in a good way. There were trees, flowers and rich foliage everywhere. It was a few days before the Chinese New Year so Singapore was beautifully decorated with red lanterns that gave the city an enchanting glow at night. During that trip, I explored Chinatown with traditional shophouses and the fortune telling birds in cages. In Little India, the authentic Indian meal (which I ate traditional style with my hands) was absolutely delicious. When I returned a few months later durng the Flower Festival, the colourful and elaborate decorations were all fashioned out of flowers and truly beautiful. I spent a few days at the end of my Asian tour in 2002, exploring Sentosa Island. If you go be sure to Be sure to visit Images of Singapore, the Magical Merlion at night and the southernmost tip of Asia. In 2003, I decided that it was time for me to visit the Raffles Hotel. The corridors were just filled with history. Once could almost picture the rich and famous of a bygone era strolling in the garden. The afternoon tea was definitely more like a meal with a full buffet consisting of savoury delights....and, best of all, I finally got to try the Singapore Sling for which the Raffles Hotel is famous.

Anne's Travel Journal:
The first time I went to Malaysia was January, 2000. It was a few days before Chinese New Year so there were red lanterns everywhere. It created an enchanting setting at night. When I arrived at the Regency, check in was not at the front desk. Instead I was taken up to my room an served tea while the required documentation was filled in. I was most impressed. My session, which took place at the same hotel, was a success and there were 65 delegates from banks, airlines, IT companies, and more. They loved the fact that I played reggae music during breaks and taught them how to dance reggae. I had a blast. It almost didn’t seem like work.
During that trip, I didn’t even have to take any city tours. My hosts took me to a fantastic Indian restaurant and my Malaysian landlord’s friend took me to Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, Bangsar’s night market and a restaurant that had a buffet and a cultural show. As we approached the restaurant, I saw 2 ornately dressed men approaching. One held an umbrella that was ornately decorated in gold and silver over the head of the first gentleman. I asked “Is he a prince or something?” My companion laughed and said “No, it’s part of the show”. The show depicted a typical Malaysian wedding and it was very entertaining.
On that trip, Ispent a relaxing morning on my own at Templer’s Park in Selangor. I was thrilled to see the tiny monkies playing on the beach.
If you want to build some of these experiences into your group’s itinerary, it’s really quite simple, just arrange a day or night city tour in KL and you’ll visit Chinatown, the restaurant with the cultural show and many other attractions. I recommend a 5 night stay in Malaysia as there is so much to see and do. Fifteen trips later, I still haven't run out of unique places to explore in Malaysia.

Incentive travel to Japan is an ideal opportunity for a departure from standard fare. A nation of contrasts, in Japan you'll see bustling cities, stroll through beautiful gardens, calm yourself beside quiet ponds, enjoy mountain views, and take in the thrill of a sumo wrestling match.
To provide your group with a truly memorable experience, we highly recommend a stay at a ryokan or minshuku for all or part of your stay. It will help your group to really get a feel for Japan. Time your trip so that you can incorporate some uniquely Japanese cultural experiences like Kabuki, Noh Theatre, the Sakura Matsuri, or one of other festivals that take place throughout the year into your itinerary. There are also a number of Unesco World Heritage sites that are really worth seeing.
We specialize in luxury 5 star itineraries.

Anne's Travel Journal:
I have had the pleasure of travelling to Japan a number of times. I have typically used Ginza as my base as it's walking distance from the Kabuki-za. I always try to build a mesmerizing Kabuki performance into my itinerary. The Imperial Palace, Tsukiji Fish Market, great shopping, fantastic restaurants and other attractions from Ginza.
A highlight of my experience in Japan was stays at traditional ryokans in Tokyo and Kyoto. I took the Shinkansen to Kyoto and stayed at a peaceful ryokan in the mountains. A relaxing soak in an Ofuro (traditional Japanese bath) is not to be missed. Kyoto had castles, gardens, shrines, temples, and the Imperial Palace to explore. I spent an evening strolling around the Gion disctrict with some new found acquaitances. There was so much to see my only regret was that I didn't stay longer. When you plan your itinerary, make sure that you stay in Kyoto for at least 3 nights.
